In the third volume, Salty and Ikki meet a talking bird who asks them to take him to Dr. Aki, the father of Medabots. They go to the Medabot Corporation, and Metabee gets himself into a raging ro-battle with an experimental flying medabot. If Metabee wins, he'll get some flying medaparts of his own! Then, Koji throws a party and everyone's invited - a perfect opportunity for the Rubberobo Gang to cause some trouble!
