Created under its exclusive, worldwide license to produce trading
card games for New Line Cinema's movie trilogy, Decipher, Inc. launches this
exciting new Lord of the Rings TCG, boasting illustrations captured from the
film and photo-realistic images generated in-house on Decipher's own Silicon
Graphics systems made popular by the innovative Jedi Knights CCG. Starter decks
and supplemental boosters contain both Fellowship and Shadow elements which have
an independent, yet interconnected relationship, as both components impact the
game as you travel down an Adventure Path that unfolds before you, with neither
you nor your opponents capable of predicting the exact path required to take as
your Fellowship travels towards the ultimate goal of destroying the One Ring.
The core design supports two or more players without fundamental changes in
rules, winning condition or deck structure. Introduced in 12-count, 50-card
Starter Deck Displays and 36-count, 11-card Booster Displays.
