The Wolfriders have throughout their history, run afoul of humans, who have
seen the elves as "demons," fit only to be driven from the lands of men. But
never before have Ember and her tribe run into Lehrigen the bounty hunter. Hired
by the warlord Grohmul Djun to find and destroy the Wolfriders, Lehrigen can
track and hunt as well as any elf. Using skills and tricks learned over a
lifetime of hunting elves, he can make himself "invisible" to even the
Wolfriders' keen senses. Once he takes an assignment, nothing stops him from
