WILLIAM SHATNER SEEKING MAJOR TOM LP

William Shatner once again unpacks his Golden Pipes for his first musical project since 2004's Has Been: The space-themed, heavy metal concept album, Seeking Major Tom. The CD will feature 18 covers of mostly space-themed rock songs like "She Blinded Me With Science," "Learn to Fly," and even "Bohemian Rhapsody". Although details are sparse at presstime, The L.A. Weekly reports that Peter Frampton and Mike Inez are confirmed guests, with rumors of the participation of Bootsy Collins, Yes' Steve Howe, Deep Purple's Ian Paice, and Queen's Brian May.
