Sanzo, Goku and Hakkai are out to find "God" - and Gojyo. At the same time, Gojyo climbs the seemingly endless stairway to heaven and is assailed by a very maternal monster. The gang finally catches up to Gojyo, but the battle has just begun. The war with "God" erupts as the quarrelling quartet must finally put everything behind them and focus on defeating this dangerous deity.
