For those blessed enough with being able to eke out a living as artists, the practice of art to that end can quickly become work, and the requirements and fiscal demands can easily make the artist forget the joys of creation. As an answer, Greg Ruth began The 52 Weeks Project as a way to rediscover the joys of art, by beginning each week with a simple act of artistic play. The 52 Weeks Project collects work from the first two years of the acclaimed weekly drawing series and includes an introduction by Ethan Hawke.
