This DVD set collects all 17 Superman animated shorts produced by Max Fleischer studios originally released theatrically by Paramount Pictures from September 9th, 1941, to July 30th, 1943, complete with two retrospective featurettes ("The Man, The Myth Superman," and "First Flight: The Fleischer Superman Series"). Fully remastered, each cartoon is brimming with action and special effects, beautifully drawn and colored, braced with fabulous background paintings and brought to life with realistic movement.
