Sports cartoonist/journalist Murray Olderman began his career in 1947 when many metropolitan newspapers had their own full-time cartoonists to decorate their sports sections. Olderman met most of the greatest sports personalities of the 20th century, from Jesse Owens and Babe Ruth to Tiger Woods and Kobe Bryant.
The Draw of Sport compiles over 150 of Olderman's favorite personalities from the sporting world. Each full-page illustration is accompanied by Olderman's own personal reminiscences of those illustrious stars.
