On the way to La Naan, Ishtar and Duzell stumble upon the domain of the evil Lord Jened, who just happens to be Ishtar's uncle! After slipping into quick disguises, Ishtar and Duzell investigate whether Jened or his daughter is carrying the soul of Phelios. In a comedy of errors - and eros! - Duzell is forced to play footsie with a captain of Jened's army while Ishtar is confronted by Jened's High Sorcerer, who reveals a dark secret behind the creation of Ruelles and the reason for Jened's evil obsession.
