Honey Talks brings back authentic Slovenian folk art by showcasing comics stories based on motifs of painted beehive panels. Each of nine authors, Anke Feuchtenberger (Germany), Jakob Klemencic (Slovenia), Koco (Slovenia), Milorad Krstic (Hungary), Matthias Lehmann (France), Rutu Modan (Israel), Vladan Nikolic (Serbia and Montenegro), Marcel Ruijters (Holland) and Danijel Zezelj (Croatia/USA), selected a motif from the treasury of Slovenian painted beehive panels and prepared a comics story. This unique package collects several exciting stories, ranging from westerns, to criminal stories, to medieval tales, all told in a variety of art styles by the great artists from Europe and Israel. Packaged as nine comic books (landscape format, 264 pages total) handsomely packaged in a box set, with an additional booklet about the history of painted beehive panels.
