He rights wrongs and punishes evildoers. Electric Tiki presents the eighteenth character in its ongoing tribute to Classic Heroes,
Doc Savage! Clark Savage, Jr., aka Doc Savage, first appeared in 1933 in the pages of
Doc Savage magazine. Created by Henry W. Ralston and John L. Nanovic for Street and Smith publications, Doc Savage was created to capitalize on the success of another pulp hero, The Shadow. Writer Lester Dent was the first to fully flesh out the character, and artist James Bama gave the "Man of Bronze" the classic appearance he is known for today. Having been trained by a team of scientists from birth, Doc grew to almost superhuman abilities. Electric Tiki's Doc Savage statue depicts the hero on an icy winter base, featuring the original "Fortress of Solitude." The translucent blue dome reveals a hidden hatch, featuring the Doc Savage logo. Standing 12" tall, Doc Savage is sculpted by Rub n Procopio and Bryan Wynia. Each cold-cast statue is hand numbered and strictly limited to initial orders.
