Staff Picks (March): Stargate Universe — Back to Destiny #1

Stargate Universe had one of those abrupt, cliff-hanging, hair pulling, “how can you do this to me?” sort of series finales that leaves you hollow inside for a few days fighting the urge to eat your feelings while binge-watching some other show with “star” in the title.  But no more, friends and neighbors, relief is in sight.

For the first time in comic form, the reluctant crew of Destiny will finish the television adventure that left millions of fans clamoring for more.  With the ship preparing to cross a vast stretch of space and the crew bedding down in suspended animation for the long journey, Eli Wallace, the self-proclaimed “Math Boy” is left awake, trying to repair a damaged stasis pod.  His misfortune leaves the fate of the ship and its crew in his hands as he faces off against a new threat even as they try to leave old ones behind them.
