This vampire-laden issue of HorrorHound is dedicated to Hammer Horror and their 60th anniversary of vampire cinema. With the landmark Christopher Lee film, Horror of Dracula, the studio set a new standard for vampire films and went on to create remarkable red-blood-drenched horrors. This issue focuses on the Christopher Lee original, the history of the Lee and Peter Cushing-starring sequels, a spotlight on Van Helsing in the Hammer films, and the Karnstein Trilogy. A special VHS Invasion on The Hammer Collection is planned, as well as movie news for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdon, The Purge: The Island, and Slenderman.
