Go underground! In 1967, San Francisco printer Charles Plymell was
exposed to the work of underground cartoonist Robert Crumb. Inspired, Plymell
offered to publish Crumb's work in Zap Comics #1, and the underground
comics movement was on. Then, return to the present for columns by Mark Evanier,
Peter David, Tony Isabella, and Andrew Smith. (Krause Publications)
