Dec 05, 2019
The 10-episode television adaptation of Locke and Key — based on Joe Hill & Gabriel Rodriguez’s bestselling graphic novels from IDW Publishing — will make its long-awaited premiere on Netflix February 7, after a nearly nine-year journey through numerous studios and production companies.
The series follows the three Locke siblings — played by Jackson Robert Scott (It Chapter 2), Connor Jessup (American Crime) and Emilia Jones — and their mother (Darby Stanchfield, Scandal') who move into the mysterious Keyhouse after the murder of their father and husband, respectively. In Keyhouse, they discover magical keys that may provide clues to the mystery of their father’s death. But the quest of the Locke children awakens a mysterious demon who will stop at nothing to steal the keys.
Bill Heck, Laysla De Oliveira, Thomas Mitchell Barnet, Griffin Gluck and Coby Bird also star.
Netflix also released key art to promote the show, shown here.
