Colin Farrell, Andy Serkis in Talks to Join The Batman

Robert Pattinson’s Dark Knight stands to gain another opponent with Colin Farrell in talks to play The Penguin in The Batman, according to a Deadline exclusive.
Meanwhile, The Wrap exclusively revealed that Andy Serkis is in discussions to play the hero’s butler & confidant, Alfred Pennyworth.
The role would mark Farrell’s first comic-book outing since he played Bullseye in 2003’s Daredevil. The project would reunite Serkis with director Matt Reeves after their acclaimed work in the Planet of the Apes franchise.
Confirmed co-stars for the film include Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman, Paul Dano as The Riddler and Jeffrey Wright as Commissioner Gordon.
The film is set to open on June 25, 2020.
