Cold Spots TP

Writer Cullen Bunn has made a career out of scaring his readers, and his latest work with artist Mark Torres is no exception. His Cold Spots TP (DEC180074) from Image Comics reminds us that true horror should be unsettling. The kind of story that makes you yearn for a night light in the room. The story is about a man named Dan Kerr and he only wants to see his family whole again. But that may prove extremely difficult because ghosts stir whenever Dan's estranged daughter is near, and as the dead grow restless, Dan's options seem to dwindle. Look for this new book from Image Comics in the Premier Comics section of the PREVIEWS catalog!

Universal Monsters Wolfman Reaction Figure

All career monsters at some point have to think about what happens when the bloom is off the rose. Do they just accept that fame is a fleeting moment, find a good agent, and book themselves on the nearest Con circuit? Or do they try to reinvent themselves for a new generation? In the case of the Wolfman, it would be to reinvent onself. The character has had many incarnations since Lon Chaney first created the character for Universal. But if we were to trace things back to when the feral monster first appeared as a plastic icon, the best point of reference would be the retro Universal Monsters Wolfman Reaction Figure (SEP188589) which  features 5 points of articulation. Look for it in the December issue of the PREVIEWS comic shop catalog!
