"Black Panther: The Album" Grabs Six Grammy Nominations

Kendrick Lamar's Black Panther: The Album grabbed six Grammy nominations Friday while Ludwig Göransson's Black Panther (Original Score) nabbed a nomination for Best Score Soundtrack for Visual Media.
Nominations for Black Panther: The Album include Album of the Year, Best Song Written for Visual Media, Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Rap/Sung Performance and Best Rap Performance.
Lamar, a 12-time Grammy winner, produced the album while various artists such as SZA, The Weeknd, Vince Staples and more lent their performances.

Marvel Studios' Black Panther was also nominted for three Golden Globes this week, including Best Picture - Drama.
