Netflix Orders Live-Action "Cowboy Bebop" Series

On the heels of announcing its live-action adaptation of Avatar: The Last Airbender, Netflix has ordered a 10-episode, straight-to-series order for a live-action adaptation of the legendary anime Cowboy Bebop.
The hit anime focuses on a crew of bounty hunters — Spike Spiegel, Jet Black, Faye Valentine and Radical Ed — as they hunt dangerous criminals and save worlds … for the right price.
Christopher Yost, a writer for Thor: Ragnarok, Thor: The Dark World and various other TV shows, will write the first episode. Shinichiro Watanabe, the original series' director, will serve as the show's consultant.
Andre Nemec, Josh Appelbaum, Jeff Pinkner and Scott Rosenberg will serve as showrunners.
