In honor of the release of the brand-new Superman #1, we take a look at a classic toy based on the Man of Steel!
Captain Action was an action figure that was designed to be outfitted with costumes to turn the figure into different superheroes.
In 1966, the Superman costume hit shelves!
The costume features a cape, mask, belt, four yellow shackles, Phantom Zone projector, a block of Green Kryptonite, gold chains, boots and his faithful Krypto the Super Dog with cape.
