For this week's Throwback Thursday, we take a look at a vintage action figure from Mattel!

The Capt. Lazer action figure was releasd in 1967 and was part of a line of toys centered around Capt. Lazer's friend, Major Matt Mason.

Capt. Lazer stood 13" tall and had 5 points of articulation. The figure was designed with a laser pistol molded into one hand. The outfit includes removable helmet, "Space Treaders" attached to boots and a battery operated "Lazer Power Control" backpack. It came with two of three different hard plastic attachments which fit onto the gun.

The figure sold for $180.53 at auction courtesy of our friends over at Hake's Americana & Collectibles.
