Please tell us a bit about yourself!
I’m a full time comic writer based in Calgary, AB, Canada. I’ve been fortunate to work on such creator-owned titles as Kennel Block Blues (SEP161411), D4VE (V1/JUL150396), Hot Damn (SEP160558), and Curb Stomp (NOV151143), along with licensed properties such as Kong on the Planet of the Apes (FEB189110), Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and G.I. Joe vs. The Six Million Dollar Man (MAY180645). I love coffee, tattoos, and loud music.
What are your favorite projects you’ve contributed to over the past decade?
Kennel Block Blues and the D4VE series, in particular, are very personal stories for me, and as such were incredibly rewarding and challenging to create. Kong on the Planet of the Apes is a complete dream project/bucket-list property to work on, and I’m blessed with bringing it to reality alongside such an amazing team!
What are you currently working on?
Currently, I’m working on another two-issue arc of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Universe, as well as two new creator-owned titles coming out in October.
What fun titles are you reading?
Black Mask’s The Wilds (#1 2nd Ptg./JAN188846) by Vita Ayala and Emily Pearson is an immaculate, character-driven post-cataclysm tale, told by two of the best in comics right now.
Aftershock’s Cold War by Chris Sebela and Hayden Sherman is post-modern science fiction with a style all of its own.
Image Comics’ Ice Cream Man (V1: Rainbow Sprinkles/APR180546) by W. Maxwell Prince, Martin Morazzo, and Chris O’Halloran is an episodic sci-fi absurdity with as much heart as intensity.
