Bring On The Bad Guys: The Batman Who Laughs, Alex DeLarge, & Captain Phasma

Egads! Another molotov cocktail that's served as a kids drink. Say it isn't so! Say we don't have to suffer the bad guys again! Yes, sad for all of those within hearing range... you will submit!  Your lethal injection of mean is back with this month’s rendition of “Bring on the Bad Guys,” and once again we show that we don’t discriminate because of race, sex, color, or creed. If you’re rotten, you qualify. And there are many ways to qualify. It might be that you enjoy kicking cats. It might be that you eat people. Or...maybe it’s because you’re one of Satan’s soldiers. In any event, we flip through the PREVIEWS catalog each month to see who needs to be called out as a deviant, and then we explain why these people … or things … or whatever they are … shouldn’t be helped if you see them bleeding in the middle of the street.

Let us begin.

Batman: The Dark Prince Charming Book Two HC

Concluding a storyline that was brought to us by the multi-talented European superstar artist Enrico Marini, Batman: The Dark Prince Charming Book Two HC (MAR180259) brings us once again the most recognized painted face in the DC Universe. His grin is uminstakable. His reputation undeniable. Whenever the Joker is a part of anyone's daily itinerary, you can count on a considerable body count being sent to the morgue, or, at the least, a bad day that you want to drown in vodka. Not much should be left standing at the end of this story arc, yet it remains to be seen exactly what Catwoman's role was in the Clown Prince's grand plan. Look for this concluding chapter in the DC Comics section of the PREVIEWS catalog!

One-12 Collective: A Clockwork Orange— Alex DeLarge Action Figure

From Stanley Kubrik's A Clockwork Orange comes the beloved, brash, ballsy miscreant we love to hate! It is one of actor Malcolm McDowell's most infamous performances, one that took West Side Story to the next level, where the envelope was pushed so hard it was pushed right off the cliff. The character is here, immortalized as the One-12 Collective: A Clockwork Orange— Alex DeLarge Action Figure (DEC178144), and it features three uniquely expressive head portraits as well as Alex's classic all-white cloth outfit and codpiece. No midnight run to terrorize citizens can be considered successful unless Alex is on board, so pick up this collectible and add him to your arsenal of anarchists. You'll find him in the Toys/Statues/Models section of PREVIEWS!

Star Wars Captain Phasma ARTFX Statue

Empires are only as powerful as the foot soldiers that prop them up. So when one of those foot soldiers turns out to be the Star Wars Captain Phasma ARTFX Statue (MAR182564), it's safe to say that the empire will be around until the stars burn out. Phasma's signature Chromium armor is recreated using metal plating, and here she is posed with her spear at the ready, evoking her confrontation with Finn from the film. There's a reason why people talk in hushed whispers when it comes to the subject of the empire. Phasma is one of those reasons! Look for this top-shelf collectible in the Kotobukiya section near Import Toys/Statues/Models of the March PREVIEWS catalog!
