Giants #1

Carlos and Miguel Valderrama are bringing their unique comic style to American audiences as Dark Horse Comics publishes their first American work in Giants #1 (OCT170060). This five-issue mini-series follows two young orphans in a world where a cataclysm of unknown origins unleashed a race of destructive and gigantic monsters. Humanity has been driven unground by this new threat, but the real danger may not be so easy to hide from. These poor orphans will soon realize that the most dangerous monster of all is ambition – and if it grows unchecked, will devour you!

Flash #36

Joshua Williamson is joined by writer Michael Moreci as he and Howard Porter continue their critically acclaimed run in Flash #36 (OCT170255). “A Cold Day in Hell” begins with a murder as one of Flash’s Rogues is killed inside Iron Heights prison, and Barry uses the case as a distraction from his personal turmoil. Barry throws himself into the case, but as he continues to dig a startling conspiracy begins to emerge and the deadly secret of Iron Heights prison is slowly revealed.

Image Comics cult classic series returns as John Arcudi and David Rubin resurrect Rathraq once again in Rumble #1 (OCT170552). Once an ancient warrior god, Rathraq was resurrected as a sword wielding scarecrow, and now he is transformed once again – but into what? Weapon X #12

A new series from Aftershock Comics is exploring the secret past of Leonardo da Vinci as Paul Allor and Chris Evenhuis bring Monstro Mechanica #1 (OCT171088) to life. Taking place at the height of the Renaissance, factions are at war and vying for control of da Vinci’s extensive - and destructive – arsenal. It’s up to da Vinci’s young female apprentice and her nine-foot tall mechanical wooden bodyguard to save the world as they navigate a world full of wicked people and war machines.
