Giffen And Lemire Team Up For Inferior Five Series For DC

If you’ve ever wondered how some of your favorite creators got their start in comics, then the “Sunday Conversation” panel at NYCC was the place to be. DC Publisher Dan DiDio invited writers Cecil Castellucci (SHADE, THE CHANGING GIRL), Benjamin Percy (GREEN ARROW), Rob Williams (SUICIDE SQUAD) and Joshua Williamson (THE FLASH, Vertigo’s FROSTBITE), along with artist Yanick Paquette (WONDER WOMAN: EARTH ONE) to talk about how they broke into the business.

DiDio also invited a surprise guest to stop by for a chat, master storyteller Keith Giffen, who didn’t disappoint. Giffen revealed news that in June 2018, he and writer Jeff Lemire (HAWKMAN: FOUND), would be collaborating on INFERIOR FIVE, a 12-issue series that reimagines the team of Silver Age misfit teenage heroes. In addition to co-plotting the main series, Lemire will also write and draw the back-up stories featuring the costumed vigilante PEACEMAKER.
