Twelve years ago Fantagraphics Books began The Complete Peanuts, a chronological and comprehensive reprint series of Charles Schulz's influential and acclaimed comic strip Peanuts, including 2,000 strips that had never been reprinted. In June, the series comes to a close with The Complete Peanuts: 1999-2000 (MAR161462), the final volume covering the final thirteen months of the comic strip, as well as all of Schulz's pre-Peanuts strip, Li'l Folks!
