Bringing Back The Bad Guys in Illuminati #1

Bad guys win every day. You just don't hear about it on the news. Why? Because it would be too depressing, that's why! You wouldn't get out of bed. To be frank, news of Illuminati #1 (SEP150695) is just going to add to your depression as a fateful day is coming that shows a team of villains are organizing for nationwide chaos, and domination.

The book is going to be an ongoing series from writer Joshua Williamson and artist Shawn Crystal, and it's going to show you how one group of villains have had enough of the staus quo in the Marvel Universe. Why should they live in a world every day where the sky is congested with do-gooders? How are they supposed to earn a return from a life of crime when resistance faces them at every corner? Where are their rights to work (or, steal)? It's...it's...flat out prejudice!

In short, if you squeezed a living out of taking someone else's, it's been a hard life. One day you're eating at restaurant ordering the manager's special, and the next you're milking a packet of Ramen noodles. This is the life, and there's no way out of the grind. There's no future in crime if you're looking for consistency and job security. But...things are about to change, as a question has been continually asked, "Who will come along and stand up to save the villains?"

It seems The Hood has answered that question. The Hood wants everyone to have a seat at the right-hand side of the table, and in return they can serve as his personal army. He's well on his way to becoming unstoppable, because he now has the services of Titania, Mad Thinker, Thunderball, Black Ant and Enchantress.

With that kind of firepower, to say that he has a few heavyweights in his corner is an understatement at best. These people don’t want to just have a good meal. They want a future. They want to expand. They want their own credit cards, and they don't want to have to sign the card backs using someone else's name. They want payback, and the time has come for them to stand, and shine in this November's Illuminati #1.
