DC Entertainment To Publish New Hardcover For Will Eisner’s The Spirit

The latest hero to have his anniversary commemorated by a special hardcover from DC Entertainment will be The Spirit, the star of the upcoming Will Eisner’s The Spirit: A Celebration Of 75 Years.
Along with Will Eisner’s classic stories from the feature’s original run, the book will include recent tales by writer Alan Moore and artist Daniel Torres, and writer Neil Gaiman and artist Eddie Campbell, originally published in The New Adventures of The Spirit. In addition, the collection will include the one-shot Batman/The Spirit, written by Jeph Loeb with art by Darwyn Cooke and J. Bone.
The 480-page Will Eisner’s The Spirit: A Celebration Of 75 Years HC will be solicited in the April PREVIEWS catalog, scheduled to arrive in stores July 1 with a cover price of $39.99.
