Kotobukiya’s line of DC Comics “New 52” ARTFX+ Statues continues after the high-flying acrobat Nightwing with another member of the “Batman Family” and protector of Gotham City, Batgirl!
The classic and best known Batgirl first appeared in comics in 1967, the alter ego of Gotham City police commissioner’s daughter Barbara Gordon. Brilliant and courageous, Batgirl helped defend the good citizens of her city alongside her mentor Batman, and continues to do so in the current DC Comics New 52 issues.

A veteran crime fighter and ace detective, Batgirl, alert for any trouble, watches over Gotham from rooftop to defend the city from crime and corruption. The dedicated superheroine stands confident and ready with her hands resting comfortably on her hips, and her head cocked slightly as she takes in her surroundings.
Batgirl wears her iconic New 52 costume, a sleek black bodysuit with resplendent metallic gold gloves, boots, utility belt, and chest logo. Meanwhile the lower part of her face as well as her eyes are exposed beneath the costume’s bat-shaped cowl as her long red hair whips around her.
Barbara’s costume is highly detailed with all of the built-in armor and various textures right out of the artwork from the comics, and everything is perfect down to the bat shapes on her knees and the flow of her long cape!

Sculpted by Atelier Bamboo, Batgirl stands 7 inches tall (in the ARTFX+ 1/10th scale) atop her included display base with magnets in her feet for added stability. Barbara Gordon is the perfect addition to any Batman or ARTFX+ collection and looks fantastic next to the previously released Bruce Wayne and Nightwing statues!
