Old Boy is a manga series written by Garon Tsuchiya and illustrated by Nobuaki Minegishi. The story follows the protagonist Shinichi Gotō, a man who, after a decade of incarceration in a private prison, is suddenly freed. After his release, Gotō must find his captors and discover the reason for his confinement.
Dark Horse Comics translated the series into English and released eight volumes of Old Boy in 2006 and 2007. Now a new film, directed by Spike Lee and starring Josh Brolin, is set to be released in theaters on November 27th!
