Spider-Man's iconic villain the Green Goblin mounted his rocket sled and took a pumpkin bomb in hand for Diamond Select Toys' Marvel Select: Green Goblin Action Figure, the best-selling Toy product sold to comics specialty retailers in February. Diamond Select Toys also had the number two Toy product in February with the Marvel Select: Colossus Action Figure, based on the fan-favorite X-Men character.
Also with two products in the top ten in February was Kotobukiya with two of their Bishoujo-styled comic book statues; the DC Bishoujo: Poison Ivy Statue ranked #3 and the Marvel Bishoujo: Mystique Statue ranked #4.
DC Direct also placed two products in the top ten — the Catwoman 1/4-Scale Museum Quality Statue ranked #4 and the Batman: Black & White Statue by Sergio Aragonés ranked #8.
Bowen Designs had two statues in the top ten as well; the Wolverine: Old Man Logan Statue, based on the best-selling Mark Millar and Steve McNiven storyline, ranked #7 for the month, and the Giant Man Statue, based on the Avengers stalwart, ranked #9.
Finishing off the month, Kenner and Mattel each had one product in the top ten..

How does Diamond calculate the charts? It all starts at the comic book shop.
Data for Diamond’s sales charts — which include the monthly market shares and all top product charts — are compiled by Diamond Comic Distributors from a universe of over 3,500 accounts, comprised of comic book specialty shops and other merchant stores and buyers. The shops are primarily located in North America, with a percentage of sales also to international stores and buyers located throughout the world. The account base includes not only brick-and-mortar comic book specialty shops, but also Internet stores, chain stores, and other specialty stores.
Unit and dollars sales are calculated based upon orders invoiced and shipped to Diamond accounts during any given month, minus any copies that are distributed free of cost.
