The trailer for Marvel Comics' upcoming motion picture X-Men: First Class has been revealed, and it's nothing short of breathtaking. Offering Hollywood names like Kevin Bacon as Sebastian Shaw of the Hellfire Club, and dazzling special effects, this film is set to open June 3 2011.
Directed by Matthew Vaughn, the movie reveals the lives of Charles Xavier and Erik Lehnsherr (Professor X and Magneto) in the 1960s when John F. Kennedy as president of the United States stated the grave danger facing the country during the Cuban Missile Crisis. At the time, the Civil Rights Movement was also the talk around the water cooler. Take those elements, mix them with emerging mutants in the general population, and you can take a stab at how explosive the story will be for this upcoming action film that details the lives of two best friends before they became enemies.
