Publisher: Hatter Entertainment

Pix: One Weirdest Weekend graphic novel is the launch title for Hatter Entertainment from comics creator Gregg Schigiel (X-Babies, SpongeBob Comics). Just in time for Unsung Heroes month, Pix is a brand new super hero looking to make a splash and show the whole world what she can do!

Emaline Laurel Pixley, Em for short, or Pix if you were to meet her in her superhero costume, is a teenage girl looking for a way to live her life with superpowers. She is learning how to deal with the repercussions of having her powers and resolved to be a force for good in her community. When Pix isn’t saving people from certain doom, the values her parents have instilled in her along with Schigiel’s art style can almost trick the reader into thinking she might live next door to Archie Andrews in Riverdale. While people initially might not believe she has her powers because she’s the daughter of a Fairy King like she claims, no one dares to give her any flak when it’s her super strength standing between them and monsters, fire breathing dragons, or even magically possessed electronics!

Will Pix be able to deal with all the various dangers that surround her and her friends, find a way to do the right thing like she wants, and still manage to do it all while not getting grounded by her parents? Don’t miss out! Pick up your copy of Pix: One Weirdest Weekend from Hatter Entertainment in February 2015.
