Staff Picks (March 13): True Blood Volume 5 — Shake For Me HC

More about True Blood… By the time you’re reading this it’s springtime, which means Game of Thrones is about to be in full-swing on HBO and while I do adore that show, I enjoy it more knowing as each episode ends that we're one week closer to another season of True Blood!

This hardcover volume brings forth one of my favorite characters, and one I feel doesn’t get the level of attention he should; Alcide. I’m Team Eric one hundred and ten percent, but I’m going to enjoy reading this volume of the series because of the key role my favorite nocturnal creature plays to the plot line.

Bon Temps is in trouble again…this time it’s an ancient wolf pack is conducting a mass slaughtering of the town’s residents, and Alcide has to join forces with everyone’s favorite Viking, Eric Northman, to save the town.

Can they do it? Can they save the town of Bon Temps?
