IDW is launching a six-part micro series with issues solely based on each of the “Mane Six.” Issue #1 is focusing on one of the two top contenders for Heather’s favorite My Little Pony; Twilight Sparkle. Will issue #2 be Pinkie Pie?
As I write this Staff Pick, I am also anxious awaiting the arrival of issue #1 of the ongoing series with Katie Cook’s writing and Andy Price’s art. While it saddens me Katie will not be writing the micro-series, it is with high hopes she become attached to the project somehow. I would love to see some Katie Cook variant covers!
