Game of Thrones is one party I’m glad, even though I was late to it, that I didn’t miss it entirely.  I began watching the show in the beginning of season two and didn’t entirely pay too much attention because I hadn’t seen season one so nothing made sense to me. After buying season one on Blu-Ray, and re-watching season two, I’m in love with everything Game of Thrones, especially the graphic novel. This hardcover, a collection of the Dynamite Entertainment single issues, adapts the original fantasy novel written by George R. R. Martin. I missed out on the first few issues due to my lack of interest in the series (see a pattern developing?) but now I am quite enjoying the release of the graphic novel so I can read the story of Westeros and its dynastic struggles from the very beginning.

Staff Picks (September): The Can Opener’s Daughter GN

Recommended by Jim Fallone
Absurdist fiction is hard. To do it well, to have it not only hold meaning but to also hold your attention is harder yet. Rob Davis manages to do it in The Can Opener's Daughter.
