At the Munsey mansion Halloween party,  after meeting the mysterious Dr. Ahab, the green Mr. Grun, Iron Man, Thaw the Viking, and the tuxedo-wearing saber-toothed Smilodon, a child is befriended by a strange creature and, together, they thwart evil lurking in New Arkham.
