Birdperson (voiced by the show's co-creator, Dan Harmon) is an old friend of Rick's - they've fought together, got blackout drunk together, even been in a band together! Wise beyond his bird-years, he offers a monotonous stream of third-person advice to anyone who will listen... and many who won't. Rick's catchphrase "wubba lubba dub dub" apparently comes from Birdperson's native language, where it means "I am in great pain, please help me".
