Yamanami and Todo prepare to be sentenced to death for insulting officials at the Rokkaku prison after witnessing prisoners being ruthlessly murdered. In a surprising turn of events, rumors fly that the Shinsengumi were the actual culprits behind the abuse of the prisoners.
