Turbo Kid: Apple's Lost Adventure isn't Jeik Dion's first comic, but it is a return to these characters after his extensive storyboard work on the Turbo Kid movie. Coming full circle, Jeik finds himself reunited with the post-apocalyptic, BMX ride that he helped give life to. This time for the new 2-part Behemoth comic that provides an all-new tale outside of the film.

Dive into Dion's process and get a glimpse into the mad, mad, mad imagination of this new series below. And when you're done scrolling down, be sure to pre-order your copy of Turbo Kid: Apple's Lost Adventure #1. Available now using PREVIEWSowrld Pullbox!

"My name is Jeik Dion, I’m a cartoonist. Like all demon slayers, I come from the 7th dimension of hell, more often called Montreal."

"Turbo Kid is an awesome independent movie that originally came out in 2015. It’s about this kid that lives in the post-apocalyptic future of 1997! It’s a love letter to the movies of the 80s without benign “only that”. It’s more an homage to that era than a ripoff. It’s about the characters. It also has the greatest soundtrack ever. You should really check it out." - Jeik Dion

"RKSS (the directors of the film) are my friends and they hired me to do the storyboards of the film."

"When I was about 6 years old, I told my parents that I wanted to make comics for a living. Hilarity ensues."

"I’ve been living off comic books for more than 15 years now. They are mostly published here in Montreal, but I would love to have my work seen more in the states. That’s why I’m so excited about this Turbo Kid project. Happy Tank are awesome, and I’m super happy they want to publish our comics. This is going to be so cool! In terms of audience, who is TURBO KID for?"

"I think it’s for everyone. The film might be considered super violent because of all the gore, but I see it more as 'cartoon violence.' It’s Bugs Bunny for adults. That said, I would show it to kids and I think they would love it. Other than that It’s for everyone that has an interest in sci-fi, action, super-heroes, video games, etc… but most of all it’s for people that enjoy a movie that has a heart."
