Comic book listings within ComicLink’s largest Focused Auction in the firm’s long history began closing this week. There are still thousands of certified comic book lots and close to 600 original art lots that will be closing Friday, June 23, 2020, and continuing weekdays over the next couple of weeks, concluding with original art lots ending on Tuesday, July 14. Each day’s closings begin at 8 PM ET/5 PM ET. Every lot in the auction started at just $1 and most are being sold without any seller reserve.

“This auction is off to a great start with many of the top comic books still to close, including Golden Age mega-key Captain America Comics #1 in CGC 4.0 and the most valuable comic book of the Modern Era, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #1 in CGC 9.8,” ComicLink founder and Managing Director, Josh Nathanson said.

Certified comic book highlights from the Silver and early Bronze Ages include X-Men #1 CGC 6.5 (and others), #3 CGC 8.5, #7 CGC 9.2 CVA Exceptional, and #94 CGC 9.6, Tales of Suspense #49 CGC 9.4 and #52 CGC 8.0, Werewolf By Night #32 CGC 8.5, Strange Tales #89 CGC 6.0 and #110 CGC 5.5, Sub-Mariner #8 CGC 9.8 Rocky Mountain, Tales to Astonish #13 CGC 4.0, #27 CGC 3.5, and #93 CGC 9.6, and Incredible Hulk #181 CGC 8.0 (C-1).

Cole skull cover), high grade Superman #28 CGC 9.2, #36 CGC 9.0, and #43 CGC 9.4 (top five), classic Batman covers #42 CGC 4.5 and CGC 3.0, and #62 CGC 5.5, Detective Comics #10 CGC 3.0 Signature Series Crieg Flessel, #71, #76, #114 CGC 5.0, #142 CGC 5.5, #168, and #233, Timelys such as All Winners Comics #19 and Young Men #24, and Mad #1, and memorable covers by Alex Schomburg, L.B. Cole, and Jack Kamen.

Pre-code horror and crime offerings are Crime SuspenStories #5 CGC 9.4, Mystic #13 CGC 8.5 River City pedigree (highest, one of five) and #19 CGC 6.5, Haunt of Fear #15 CGC 9.0 Bethlehem pedigree and #18 CGC 9.2, and Strange Tales #14 CGC 7.0. There is also a large selection of rare in grade Atlas war titles including many at single highest graded.
