Mayhem Comes Home to Roost in Latest Birds of Prey Trailer

On January 9, Harley Quinn’s fantabulous quest for emancipation continued in the latest trailer for Warner Bros.' Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn), in which she rallies her team of anti-heroes against Black Mask, with highly explosive results.
Directed by Cathy Yan (Dead Pig) from a script by Christina Hodson (Bumblebee), the film brings back Suicide Squad’s Margot Robbie (I, Tonya) as Harley Quinn, alongside Mary Elizabeth Winstead (10 Cloverfield Lane, TV’s Fargo) as Huntress; Jurnee Smollett-Bell (HBO’s True Blood) as Black Canary; Rosie Perez (Fearless, Pitch Perfect 2) as Renee Montoya; Chris Messina (Argo, TV’s Sharp Objects) as Victor Zsasz; and Ewan McGregor (upcoming Doctor Sleep, the Trainspotting films) as Roman Sionis. Newcomer Ella Jay Basco also stars as Cassandra “Cass” Cain in her feature film debut.
The film opens on February 7.

Warner Bros. has officially released the first trailer for the anticipated spinoff of Suicide Squad (2016). Putting the focus on Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn, this trailer for Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) looks to continue the gritty explosive fun fans would expect from such a follow up.
The film, directed by Cathy Yan, will focus on Harley Quinn joining superheroes Black Canary (Jurnee Smollett-Bell), Huntress (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) and Renee Montoya (Rosie Perez) to save a young girl from the evil crime lord Black Mask (Ewan McGregor) and sadistic Victor Szasz (Chris Messina).
