The latest ComicLink Focused Auction is now open with an extensive and diverse selection of certified comic books from the Golden Age to the present, including many Silver and Bronze Age key and high grade issues. “The latest Focused Auction is high in both diversity and quality lots of exciting material,” ComicLink founder and Managing Director, Josh Nathanson, said.

The Focused Auction will run for 2-3 weeks with lots starting to close on July 23, 2019.

Some top highlights from the Silver and early Bronze Ages include Amazing Fantasy #15 CBCS 4.5, Journey Into Mystery #83 CGC 6.5, Avengers #1 CGC 7.0, Amazing  Spider-Man #1 CGC 4.0 Signature Series Stan Lee, X-Men #1 CGC 5.5, Incredible Hulk #181 CGC 9.8, Giant-Size X-Men #1 CGC 9.8, Marvel Spotlight #5 CGC 9.2, House of Secrets #92 CGC 9.2, and Werewolf By Night #32 CGC 0.6.

Golden Age material is a diverse selection including the uncommon key Superman #1 (coverless) and dozens of examples of classic covers including Wings Comics #90 CGC 8.5, Batman #11 (first Batman Joker cover) CGC 3.0, Captain America Comics #35 (WWII cover) CGC 8.5, and Human Torch #8 (Schomburg Torch vs. Sub-Mariner battle cover) CGC 6.0. The Golden Age selection includes many other Alex Schomburg covers as well as ones by his fellow cover masters, L.B. Cole and Matt Baker. There are some shocking pre-code horror and crime comic books. Late Bronze and Modern material includes examples of most of the keys from those eras including Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #1 CGC 7.5, Amazing Spider-Man #194 CGC 9.8 and #300 CGC 9.8, Batman Adventures #12 CGC 9.8, Eternals #1 CGC 9.8, Ms. Marvel #1 CGC 9.8, New Mutants #98 CGC 9.8, and many more.   

There are over 300 lots of original art offerings by dozens of artists, including many that are beloved within the hobby. During the week of July 14-21, ComicLink will meet with clients and take consignments during two shows in Southern California. They’ll attend the Los Angeles Torpedo Comics Collectors Convention on July 14 and Comic-Con International: San Diego on July 18-21. In addition to auctioning items for consignors, ComicLink is also always accepting new sellers for the ComicLink exchange marketplaces, brokering private placement deals, and buying outright. ComicLink also frequently brokers private placement deals of valuable Silver and Golden Age keys, as well is prime original art pieces.
