Start Here: Five New Comics For May 1st

Yes, there are a lot of comics out there, but there are plenty of jumping on points because of that fact. Here are five titles hitting stores on May 1, 2019. Each is a new series or the beginning of entirely new story arcs. Simply head to your comic shop and tell your store clerk, “Hey, I’d like to START HERE, please.”

Who is it for? For fans of Conan The Barbarian and Marvel.

Who is it for? For fans of R.L. Stine.

Batman #70 (MAR190488)

Who is it for? For fans of Gotham and Rockstar's Arkham games. 

Batman is locked in Arkham Asylum with his worst enemies, and the only way to get out is to fight them all. It's a gladiatorial game of madness and mayhem, all for the amusement of Bane!

Spencer & Locke 2 #1  (FEB191309)

Who is it for? For fans of Happy!. 

Spencer & Locke are back for volume 2 of their hard-hitting crime series for Action Lab Entertainment. Writer David Pepose talks with us about what's next for the hard-nosed cop and his imaginary friend.

Who is it for? For fans of Planetoid.
