AfterShock Comics has enlisted writer Tim Seely for a new twist on vampire comics.

Per an exclusive reveal from The Hollywood Reporter Seely and artist Corin Howell will be the creative team behind Dark Red

The plot details courtesy of THR:

The series centers around Charles “Chip” Ipswich, one of the so-called “forgotten men” in the United States — a man with a dead end job, who lives in a rural area in the middle of the country with no prospects, until a very special woman comes to town. There’s just one twist: Chip is a vampire.

Dark Red #1 is due at comic shops March 20 and will be available to pre-order in an upcoming edition of PREVIEWS.
