Return of Wolverine #1

He's back. The surly Canadian mutant berserker warrior who at some point has been a member of every superhero team was put to rest in Charles Soule's Death of Wolverine. But as we all know, it's hard to stay dead in comics. No one ever really dies in comics. They just go away on vacation to recharge the batteries. In Logan's case, his batteries have been recharging for a couple of years, and Marvel Comics decided that it was time for Wolverine to go back to work in Return of Wolverine #1 (JUL180952), which you can find in the July issue of Marvel PREVIEWS. Charles Soule is back, bubba, and he's brought artist Steve McNiven with him to show that the Canadian claws are sharper than ever.

Old Man Logan Annual #1

Let us point out the cool reason why it's a total mind trip to read comics. Bottom line: you aren't bound by anyone's rules. Not even the constraints of space time. All editors can be fired if they get in the way of true genius! Seriously, though, in comics the only limits are those of the imagination. When you have talented writers and artists working on a story, good luck on finding a dead end or a stop watch that tells you the race is over. Writers Ed Brisson and Ryan Cady will be first to step up and prove this point in Old Man Logan Annual #1 (JUL181130). You think they're going to let Charles Soule hog the spotlight with his Return of Wolverine series? Not a chance. They've gone all-out in this inaugural issue to show that Wolverine wasn't the only killer roaming about in the Wastelands..for the Punisher, it never stopped being a war zone! Check it out in the July issue of Marvel PREVIEWS!

One-12 Collective: Marvel: Logan Action Figure

Does the phrase "sharp dressed man" come to mind when you see the One-12 Collective: Marvel: Logan Action Figure (APR188568)? It should. The dude is as slick as a he-man can look in his cowboy hat, dog tag, fitted tank-top with jeans, a belt with a western-style buckle, a leather-like jacket with a functional zipper, and cowboy boots. Back in the day when advertising executives were looking for a picture-perfect image of a rustler or other such Marlboro Man, they would have taken one look at Logan dressed like this and had a contract under his claws in under a minute. Logan comes with six interchangeable hands, both with and without his trademark claws extended. Marvel: Animated-Style Wolverine Statue

Gentle Giant went on the record to say that Wolverine was one of the top 3 most-requested characters to be named for a future sculpture. The wait is over, and Gentle Giant shows what their take is on the berserker X-Man who is older than anyone that reads his adventures. Gentle Giant went the route of saluting the character as he would appear on a kick-ass cartoon, so they produced the Marvel: Animated-Style Wolverine Statue (JUL182542) with a design done by fan-favorite artist Skottie Young. The statue was digitally sculpted and carefully printed on state-of-the art 3D Systems 3D printers. Look for this hand-painted, and hand-numbered statue with a limited edition Certificate of Authenticity in the Toys/Statues/Models section of the July PREVIEWS catalog!

Marvel: Wolverine 2008 Collector's Gallery Statue

It's one thing to call Wolverine a name behind his back. It's another to say it to his face. Would you talk smack to a face that looks like the Marvel: Wolverine 2008 Collector's Gallery Statue (JUL182544)? Odds are your answer would be "no," and for good reason. This statue is inspired by the cover art for Old Man Logan Volume 2 #24 "Past Lives" story line. The look on Wolverine's face here is one that testifies to how the man has known heartbreak his whole life. He understands there is no fairness in the world, and because he is now a resident of the Wastelands, super villains have bested the super heroes. He is all that is essentially left of a once proud order. To take that legacy of heroes away completely, you'll need to get past him. Good luck with that. Check out this Gentle Giant Studios release in the Toys/Statues/Models section of the July PREVIEWS!
