Jamie Foxx To Star In New Spawn Film

Deadline, in addition to other sources, have reported that Academy Award-winner Jamie Foxx has joined the film version of Todd McFarlane’s Spawn.

According to the report, Foxx will play double-crossed black ops assassin Al Simmons, who becomes the Hellspawn after his betrayal and death. 

McFarlane will script and direct the film for Blumhouse.
