Vinegar Teeth #1

Dark Horse Comics’ newest mini-series, from the creative team of Damon Gentry and Troy Nixey, isn’t for the faint of heart as Brick City is beset by darkness and its only savior is the grade-A schmuck Artie Buckle in Vinegar Teeth #1 (NOV170017). Poor Artie may not be the brightest, but he’s a damn fine cop – and he’s going to have to partner up with a mysterious, tentacled, extra-dimensional being if he wants to stop the crime spree taking place in Brick City! But there’s something more sinister on the horizon, a threat so great that not only is Brick City in danger but the whole world may be on the brink of destruction!

Optimus Prime #15

The Flash is celebrating it’s 700th tale with the return of one of Barry Allen’s most formidable foes as Joshua Williamson and Carmine Di Giandomenico usher in the return of Gorilla Grodd in Flash #39 (NOV170262). Monstress #13

Marjorie Liu and Sana Takeda’s critically acclaimed Image Comics series returns as a new story arc begins in Monstress #13 (NOV170782). Maika has been battling almost her entire life and has watched countless friends and loved ones fall to the horrors of war, but her greatest battle is approaching as she must try to save her life by trying to make friends. As she struggles against everything that she has taught herself, Maika must control the darkness within her even more now as her life depends on earning the trust of others.

Legion #1

David Haller returns in a new Marvel Comics series sprung from the minds of Peter Milligan and Wilfredo Torres in Legion #1 (NOV170928). David has struggled with his multiple personalities – and the uncontrollable mutant powers that manifest with each one – but now a new personality is rising, one that may be too strong for even David to control. As he seeks out a renowned young psychotherapist to corral this new aspect of his split mind, David is getting more than he bargained for as the doctor brings her own demons along.
