Announcement Trailer: 'Mega Man 11'

Today, gamers received a surprise birthday invite from developer Capcom. 30 years ago, the Japanese video game publisher gave the world Mega Man! One of the company's most recognized mascots and one of gaming's most beloved icons! Now, 30 years later, Mega Man continues to pick up rocket propulsion, and Capcom is celebrating with an all-new sequel to the popular franchise!

Simply titled Mega Man 11, the official announcement trailer dropped almost 3 decades to the day of The Blue Bomber's original release on the Nintendo Entertainment System. Sporting updated yet slightly nostalgic "2.5D" graphics, this is the first Mega Man game in 7 years. So there's double the reason to celebrate.

Capcom hasn't set a release date for Mega Man 11 beyond "late 2018", but expect the title for Xbox One, PC, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch!

You can find out more by checking out the official Capcom Twitch livestream from earlier today.
