The Thirteenth incarnation of the Doctor will be portrayed by Jodie Whittaker and the BBC has revealed her new look in a photo on Twitter.
Whittaker is the first woman cast for the role of the Doctor and will make her debut in "Twice Upon a Time", the 2017 Christmas special.
